How long have you been a KISS fan for? I've been a fan and collector for 30 years.
What was the first KISS music you heard? I received the K-tel LP "Star Power" for my 8th birthday...I wore it out listening to the only Kiss song on the LP..."Christine Sixteen"!!
What was the first bit of KISS merchandise you bought? The Donruss trading cards...I traded with friends and collected these cards, before I even heard the band's music. I was so intrigued by the band's look, their stage and this bigger than life image...I was sucked in!
What is your favourite piece you own, and which is the most rarest? I have many favorites...I especially love the army and press kits...I even own the very first press kit. I guess it would have to be the signed "outtake" poster, from the first album. I had this signed, when my first band, The Nixons, opened for Kiss on their Alive/Worldwide Reunion Tour in 1996. My rarest, would be Eric Carr's gold plaque for CREATURES OF THE NIGHT.
What KISS rarity would you most like to add to your collection? Maybe the JCPenney cassette or LP storage case. I also would like to get the first Japanese Victor promo poster.
What does your family or partner think of your KISS obsession? They love to see how excited I get about collecting certain items...
