Once Eric joined the band, this jacket was rush-released into the Australian market. Regarding the new member’s likeness, it was quite obvious the artist didn’t have much to go on. Peter’s Love Gun costume and hair remained the same with the makeup design cribbed from Eric’s original Fox design and placed onto his face. Even the lips remained red! Like the US 1978 versions, these jackets were made of the same ‘space age’ paper-like material and came in three sizes - though the KISS Army kit mentions a 4th adult size for 17 and up. The trade ad hyped that the ‘Revolutionary’ fabric got softer the more you wore it!
