'BETH': YOUNG STAGE BAND
1977, ALMO
Almo also released a ‘Young Stage Band’ edition for the band’s hit single ‘Beth’, one year after releasing a regular sheet music version with the Destroyer cover art.
This contained the music scores for no less than 17 instruments, including four trumpets, five saxophones, bass, guitar, piano, etc.
It also included a six-page conductor’s score and a 2-sided flexi-disc. (‘Beth’ being the first song on side A. We have no idea what this actually ‘plays’? We’re guessing a guide track of some sort? Other songs on it aren’t KISS-related ...it was David Soul's 'Don't Give Up on Us' for one!).
All the music is enclosed in a press kit-style card folder - not a million miles away from the Japanese song folios. It had a flap inside listing the music for instruments enclosed and also held the flexi-disc and sheet music. Price was pretty steep (for ‘77) at $9.00.
