The ALIVE! ‘In Concert 1975 - 76’ iron-on T-shirt was shown as an illustration in the first tour book and sold at the early 1976 shows. While it’s possible it was for sale at the 1975 shows (just going by the 1975 copyright), we’ve never seen any evidence of fans wearing this pre-1976. In all probability, it’s the old story of those early concert bootleggers making their own KISS posters, T-shirts, etc. that finally convinced Aucoin and new merchandising partner, Ron Boutwell to kick-start the production of official merchandise to sell at shows
